Dunnanelly Country House is a substantial country house set in 80 acres of natural fields and woodland , and is located just 3 miles from Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland. The house is just half a mile from the main road and is totally secluded with stunning views of the Mountains of Mourne to the south, and Slieve Croob to the west. All rooms overlook the beautiful wildlife pond, fields with dry-stone walls and the magnificent mountains beyond.

Belfast International Airport is just 35 miles (approx 1 hour) away, and Belfast George Best City Airport is 22 Miles (approx 40 minutes)

There is adequate private and secure parking, Garden with terrace and outside furniture for guests use, Garden walks, Billiards Room, Croquet lawn, Boulles pitch and Kennels.

The Yellow Room
All the guest bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard of comfort with all modern conveniences.

The Yellow Room has views to the east over the Redonda and to the south over the wildlife pond towards the Mountains of Mourne. Two 3' 6" beds form a 7' double bed or may be made up as singles. The sitting area has a two-seater sofa-bed and a chair. There is a writing desk, dressing table with hair-dryer, TV and WIFI, trouser press, tea table with a complimentary tea and coffee tray which make this an extremely comfortable home from home. Generous wardrobes provide ample storage space and contain plenty of hangers, a mini-ironing board and iron, shoe-cleaning kit together with an extra blanket. The en-suite bathroom boasts a large bath and a separate walk-in shower and a high quality range of L'Occitaine bathroom products.


The Fushsia Room
has views to the south over the wildlife pond towards the Mountains of Mourne and to the west towards Slieve Croob. Two 3' 6" beds form a 7' double bed or may be made up as singles. The sitting area has a two-seater sofa and an upholstered armchair. There is a wall-mounted TV, WIFI and a trouser press. There is a desk, a dressing table with hair-dryer, tea table with a complimentary tea and coffee tray which complete the comfortable furnishings in this lovely room. The wardrobes provide ample storage space and contain a mini-ironing board and iron, shoe-cleaning kit, together with an extra blanket. The en-suite shower room has a walk-in shower and a high-quality range of L'Occitaine bathroom products.


The Blue Room
has views to the south over the wildlife pond towards the Mountains of Mourne. Two single beds may be made up as a Super-King double. There is WIFI, a dressing table/desk with hair-dryer and a wall-mounted TV. The wardrobes have plenty of hangers and provide ample storage space and contain a mini-ironing board and iron, shoe-cleaning kit, and an extra blanket. There is also a trouser press and a complimentary tea and coffee tray. The separate, exclusive bathroom is just across the corridor and boasts a large bath and a separate walk-in shower and a high quality range of L'Occitaine bathroom products.

The Blue Bedroom and seperate Bathroom


The Turquoise Room
has views to the east over the Redonda and to the west over the wildlife pond towards Slieve Croob. This bedroom has a double bed, an Ottoman and two upholstered chairs. There is a writing desk/dressing table and chair, hair-dryer, wall-mounted TV, WIFI and trouser press. There is a complimentary tea and coffee tray. The wardrobe has plenty of hangers, also contains a mini-ironing board, iron, shoe-cleaning kit, together with an extra blanket. The en-suite bathroom boasts a large bath with overhead shower and a high quality range of L'Occitaine bathroom products.


The Green Room
has views over the Redonda and to the east over small ponds, azalea beds and towards Dunnanelly Wood. This bedroom has a double bed, a single bed, a large upholstered armchair and a kidney shaped settee. There is a writing desk/dressing table with chair, hair-dryer, TV, WIFI and trouser press. There is a complimentary tea and coffee tray. The wardrobe has plenty of hangers, also contains a mini-ironing board, iron, shoe-cleaning kit, together with an extra blanket. The en-suite bathroom boasts a large bath and separate walk-in shower and a high quality range of L'Occitaine bathroom products.


The Royal Blue Room
has views to the south over the gardens and croquet lawn towards the Mountains of Mourne and to the east over small ponds, azalea beds and towards Dunnanelly Wood. This bedroom has a King-size bed, a single bed a large upholstered armchair. There is a writing desk with chair, dressing table, hair-dryer, TV, WIFI and trouser press. There is a complimentary tea and coffee tray. The wardrobe has plenty of hangers, also contains a mini-ironing board, iron, shoe-cleaning kit, together with an extra blanket. The en-suite shower room has a walk-in shower and a high quality range of L'Occitaine bathroom products.
